The measurement of Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) requires the acquisition multiple quantities regarding thermal comfort and indoor air quality. IEQ monitoring is essential to investigate building’s performance, especially when renovation needed improve energy efficiency occupants’ well-being. Thus, data should be acquired for long periods inside occupied buildings, but traditional solutions could not adequate. This paper presents development application a non-intrusive scalable IoT sensing solution continuous in buildings during process. composed an IR scanner mean radiant temperature desk node with environmental sensors (air temperature, relative humidity, CO2, PMs). integration BIM-based approach was developed automatically retrieve required sensor configuration KPIs calculation. system installed nursery located Poland support performance measured before intervention revealed issues related Using data, interventions were realized envelope insulation occupant’s behaviour.
